Mumbai, India – July 13, 2025: Tetsuro Araki, the renowned Japanese director behind global anime hits Attack on Titan and Death Note, is set to make his first-ever visit to India this August. He will be the headline guest at Anime India 2025, the country’s first major anime convention, taking place in Mumbai from August 22 to 24.
Anime India 2025 is expected to draw over 20,000 fans, cosplayers, artists, and creators, celebrating Japan’s vibrant pop culture. Araki, celebrated for his gripping storytelling and dynamic visuals, will participate in exclusive panels and a Q&A session, sharing insights into his creative process and the making of his iconic anime series. Fans with VIP tickets will also have the chance to attend a special meet-and-greet with the director.

The convention will feature a range of attractions, including a merchandise zone with products from popular series like Demon Slayer and Naruto, a Maid Café experience, and an anime film festival with exclusive screenings. Tickets start at ₹199 and are available through Zomato’s District platform.
