At the recent Kuberaa pre-release event in Hyderabad, director Sekhar Kammula praised actor Dhanush, calling him the “pride of Indian cinema.” The National Award-winning filmmaker lauded Dhanush’s exceptional acting prowess, predicting another National Award for his role in the upcoming socio-political thriller. “No one else could have done this role,” Kammula stated, highlighting Dhanush’s unique ability to embody complex characters.
Kuberaa, directed by Kammula, stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Rashmika Mandanna. The film, set for a global release on June 20, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, has generated significant buzz.
