Tamil cinema star Suriya’s 45th film, tentatively titled Suriya 45, is generating buzz. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film promises a unique blend of action, adventure, and spiritual themes. Fans are eagerly awaiting a potential teaser release on June 20, 2025, coinciding with Balaji’s birthday.
The project, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, features Trisha Krishnan alongside Suriya, marking their reunion after nearly two decades. The cast also includes Swasika, Yogi Babu, and Natty Subramaniam. Principal photography began in November 2024 at Pollachi’s Masani Amman temple, with key sequences shot in Coimbatore and Chennai.
Recent reports suggest the film, possibly titled Vettai Karuppu, explores a folklore-inspired narrative. Sai Abhyankkar replaced AR Rahman as the music composer, with G.K. Vishnu handling cinematography. The team is targeting a Diwali 2025 release, aiming for a grand theatrical impact.
